Supporting local initiatives which contribute to the community
KUWAIT: Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN) announced the participation of The Promenade as the platinum sponsor for this year’s RunKuwait race which will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The press conference was hosted at The Promenade Culture Centre in attendance of Dr Elham Hamdan representing FSHN, and Sahira Ladha representing The Promenade.
RunKuwait is a charitable initiative aiming at raising awareness and funds towards the rehabilitative treatment of vulnerable children with disabilities. Since 2013, all registration proceeds are channeled directly towards the nonprofit Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC), founded by FSHN.
Held successfully for the past six years, RunKuwait is continually supported by corporate sponsors and this year marks another successful sponsorship affiliation with The Promenade as the platinum sponsor.
Commenting on this sponsorship affiliation, Dr Elham Hamdan, medical director at FSHN, said: “We are extremely proud to announce The Promenade as our platinum sponsor for the seventh year of RunKuwait. Since the inception of this initiative, we have received continued support from our sponsors and The Promenade is dedicating their efforts for the second year around to support every step of RunKuwait as we look forward to achieving a common goal of providing children with disabilities the possible means for treatment.”
Speaking at the press conference, Adnan Al-Othman, Vice Office Supervisor and Trustee Committee Member of the Al-Othman Portfolio, commented: “At The Promenade, we are deeply committed to supporting local initiatives which contribute to the community in Kuwait. The event hosts a 5km and 10 km fun run or walk, where the entire family is encouraged to support this noble cause through registering now on runkuwait.org prior to November 4th in order to receive their timing chips and join the race.
