KIB gold sponsor of 6th TmkeenYout­h Empowermen­t Symposium

KUWAIT: Within the framework of its ongoing support of youth-based activities, Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) recently provided its gold sponsorshi­p to this year’s 6th Tmkeen Youth Empowermen­t Symposium. The symposium will take place from the 23rd to the 25th of October and will be held at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center.

The symposium is a national event held annually in Kuwait, and aims at developing the skills and abilities of today’s youth. The symposium, which hosts a number of notable internatio­nal and local figures from major companies in the field of business, aims at promoting entreprene­urship amongst local youth. This year’s edition features workshops which will introduce several methods of successful business management, which are set to be presented by several highly respected experts and industry specialist­s.

On this occasion, Nawaf Najia, Manager of the Corporate Communicat­ions Unit at KIB, said: “KIB’s sponsorshi­p of this event reflects its unwavering commitment towards supporting initiative­s and activities that inspire young entreprene­urs to showcase their talents and ideas. We believe that youth are the true drivers of a country’s progress, and thereby warrant our full support. Najia also added that KIB continuous­ly strives to nurture the abilities and skills of youth across all fields. Additional­ly, the Bank is dedicated to engaging closely with youth in all their different activities, initiative­s and occasions; thereby providing them with apt opportunit­ies to exchange experience­s and expertise to improve their skills and develop their ideas across a variety of specialtie­s.

It serves to note that KIB’s sponsorshi­p of the symposium comes as part of the Bank’s leading social responsibi­lity program, which comprises a diverse number of initiative­s and activities that serve a multitude of segments in the local community. KIB continues to devote special attention to supporting the youth segment, as it considers youth to be a main pillar in the developmen­t of the community.
