Honda Alghanim, partners with INJAZ to develop youth’s skills

KUWAIT: In its continued commitment to support the youth of Kuwait, Honda Alghanim partnered with INJAZ Kuwait, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting knowledge and professional experience among the youth through programs focused on skills and career development. Honda Alghanim will host these programs from October 2017 to October 2018, enabling students to become part of the Honda Alghanim team, gaining experience, developing their skills and learning more about the automotive sector and its complementary divisions, such as sales, after sales, marketing and more.

The partnership with INJAZ Kuwait comes as part of Honda’s philosophy ‘Power of Dreams,’ which reflects the belief that dreams should be combined with skill in order to be achieved. Founder Soichiro Honda was fond of saying, “If you can dream it, you can build it. If you use your imagination and pair that with sound and innovative engineering, you can achieve what other people can only dream about.”

As part of its sponsorship, Honda Alghanim will host all of the organization’s programs throughout the year. The programs focus on creating a platform from which students can acquire the skills they need to pursue success in entrepreneurship. The programs will include “Head Start Work Readiness”, “Steer your Career at University” and “The Company Program”, with the main objective being to take the company created by the youth to compete in Kuwait and on a regional level.

Honda Alghanim will also focus on providing participating students with the opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship and acquire the knowledge and skills to pave the way to their desired future career. The Honda Alghanim team will volunteer in INJAZ programs, which include entrepreneurship programs in which participants will be acquainted with the “Power of Dreams” philosophy and motivated to achieve their dreams.

Earlier in the month, Honda Alghanim extended its support to initiatives engaging youth talents through its “Engineered for Better” Graffiti Event, gathering eight teams of university students in a competition to express their vision of the event’s title and translate it into a graffiti wall.

Customers can take any of these cars on a test drive by visiting one of the two Honda Alghanim showrooms located in Al-Rai and Shuwaikh. The Honda Alghanim showroom in Al-Rai area operates from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, Saturday to Thursday, and from 9:30 am until 10:00 pm on Fridays. The Shuwaikh showroom operates from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. The cars’ service center waiting lounge offers entertainment and comfort for customers, digital satellite TV, free wireless internet and relaxing massage chairs. The service center, located in Al-Rai, operates seven days a week, from Saturday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm, and from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Fridays.
