Amir receives ambassadors
KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace yesterday Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Yasir Mohammad Atef on the occasion of ending his tenure as ambassador to country. His Highness the Amir also received Cuban Ambassador to Kuwait Andres Gonzalez Garrido marking the occasion of ending his tenure as ambassador to country. His Highness the Amir received as well the India’s Ambassador to Kuwait Sunil Jain on the occasion of ending his tenure as ambassador to country. The meetings were also attended by Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir received First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Hamad Al-Sabah, as well as Saudi Arabia’s Member of the International Organization for Muslim Scholars at the Saudi Royal Diwan, former Minister of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf, and President of Muslim World League Dr Abdullah bin Abdulmehsen Al-Turki.
In the meantime, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Acting President of State Audit Bureau Adel Abdulaziz Al-Sar’awi. Sar’awi presented to His Highness the Amir a copy of the Audit Bureau annual report review for budgets and final accounts for the year 2016-17. Sar’awi later presented a copy of the report to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Hamad Al-Sabah.
In other news, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem yesterday received the Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait Rami Tahboub. Ghanem also received the Moroccan ambassador to Kuwait Jaafar Hakeem, as well as Kuwait’s Ambassador to Belgium and the head of the country’s missions to the NATO and the European Union (EU) Jassim Al-Bdaiwi.
