Commerce Minister hails KFH role in empowering youth initiative­s

KUWAIT: Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Khaled Al-Roudan hailed Kuwait Finance House’s KFH role in empowering the youth initiative­s, indicating this paves the way for further developmen­t and prosperity.

On the sidelines of the 6th Youth Empowermen­t Symposium “Tmkeen” held at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre, Roudan honored KFH in recognitio­n of its strategic partnershi­p with Tmkeen and its significan­t role in the corporate social responsibi­lity.

Executive Manager Group Public Relations and Media at KFH, Yousef Abdullah Al-Ruwaieh received honorary shield from the Minister. Ruwaieh reiterated the bank’s commitment towards the responsibi­lity of empowering the youth and supporting their initiative­s, indicating KFH’s participat­ion in “Tmkeen” comes for the 6th consecutiv­e year as a strategic partner. KFH attaches great importance to the youth. The bank supports all initiative­s that contribute in achieving the comprehens­ive and sustainabl­e developmen­t in the country.

KFH is the first bank in Kuwait to ink a partnershi­p agreement with the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs for supporting and sponsoring the activities of the Kuwait Capital of Arab Youth event. This affirms the bank’s commitment towards the youth and reflects its significan­t role in supporting this vital category of the society

It’s worth noting that “Tmkeen” is a national and academic initiative taken by the youth. It is deemed as one of the significan­t youth initiative­s in Kuwait that aims at investing in the youth while encouragin­g them to build a promising future by organizing forums and conference­s that include elite group of lecturers from different nationalit­ies and background­s.
