The Hub presents ‘Mirrors’, a platform for creativity
Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammad AlAbdulla Al-Sabah, ‘Mirrors’ platform for creativity was launched on Saturday at The Hub Gallery. Bringing together creative ambassadors from throughout the region, to showcase their translation of the theme ‘connecting truth and integrity through art;’ this two-day event will feature an exhibit and lectures given by a large number of participants, some who have own all the way to Kuwait to participate.
Utilizing their own chosen form of media, these creative minds will help translate the importance of connecting diversity and making it relevant to everyone, illustrating that although the world is full of varied perceptions formed by cultural, religious and social pressures, people can still attend pertinent lessons and feel connected through art, design and other forms of expression.
Ebrahim Al-Qassab, Managing Parter at The Hub expressed his pleasure at hosting and supporting the event and its ambassadors, stating “The Hub’s family aims to transmit important messages to society by supporting artists and creative minds who are themselves dedicated to living a life of truth and integrity”, he also stated “it is important to empower society by enriching dialogue, and promoting diversity of thinking, with the sole aim of highlighting the truth that runs through all of us”.
The sixteen Creative Ambassadors are Abdulla AlAwadhi, Ahmad Al-Ghanim, Amira Behbehani, Dr Anas Al-Omeim, Faisal Al-Beshir, Faisal Dashti, Faisal AlDuwaisan, Faika Al-Hassan, Hamza Bounoua, Sheikha Marwa Al-Khalifa, Mehdi Darvishi, Nadaalawi, Pooya Aryanpour, Samira Alikhanzadeh, Talal Hamadah and Zaman Jassim, hailing from Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Algeria. The Hub Gallery is a culture for art and creativity that empowers and celebrates cultural development by hosting and arranging artistic events of elite artworks created by local and international artists which contribute to positive change in society.
