Negotiations with Americana on huge Salmiya project soon
In a joyous atmosphere and in presence of a large crowd, Hardee’s Kuwait recently celebrated lunching its 52nd branch in Kuwait and 350th in the Middle East, which opened at the Village Mall in Abu AlHassaniya. The opening ceremony was very eventful, and saw company officials vow to offer the highest levels of quality for Kuwait’s customers who have a great taste and appreciation for food in general.
Village Mall owner Abdul Azeem Abu Albanat said that he was glad for launching the new restaurant and stressed that Hardee’s, which is known for its high quality food, emphasizes the success of the mall’s plans to house outstanding international brands and companies such as Americana.
Abu Albanat also said that negotiations were in progress to cooperate with Americana in a huge project in Salmiya. He added that details about the project, which would achieve best interests for both sides, would be announced soon. The Village Mall is located over a total area of 4,000 square meters and houses 16 restaurants including Americana Group brands, he added.
Meanwhile, Hardee’s International Advisor Adel Fouda said that the company looks forward to increasing its branches in Kuwait to 80 within the coming five years. Fouda also stressed that the success of Hardee’s was achieved thanks to the support of its customers and their reactions to various products and promotions. “Hardee’s made considerable success and won a widescale public support thanks to its high-quality standards,” he underlined. He also stressed that all Hardee’s restaurants in Kuwait use Kuwaiti and Saudi meat slaughtered according to Islamic sharia regulations. Fouda also expressed happiness for opening the 350th branch in the Middle East, promising Hardee’s customers the best quality services as usual.
In the meantime, Hardee’s regional marketing manager for Kuwait, Iraq and Kurdistan Rafik Elayat mentioned that Hardee’s ambitions were limitless and that it plans to open 10-15 new branches by 2020 with the target of reaching 700 branches in the Middle East within ten years. “New openings pose a challenge to us due to the fact that Hardee’s customers are used to the highest quality standards, which is challenging,” he added, noting that opening new branches comes after full thorough studies about the area’s demography, skilled and well-qualified staff, the branch’s exterior and other factors.
Elayat also stressed that Hardee’s relies on achieving the hard equation of providing quick service with high quality, taking into consideration the level of Kuwaiti customers’ taste which is higher than peers in other countries. “Achieving this takes a lot of effort,” he added, noting that Hardee’s constantly trains and qualifies its staff to provide the best services. The company also uses state-of-the-art equipment that match the latest in international markets, Elayat said, adding that those equipment are renewed every 3-5 years. “launching the 350th branch in the Middle East is a unique event for us and for Hardee’s International in the United States,” he added, expressing his appreciation for the fact that this branch was opened in Kuwait.
Addressing customers, Elayat stressed that Hardee’s mainly seeks their satisfaction and trust. “It is hard to offer less quality services in Kuwait because of the Kuwaiti public’s high expectations from Hardee’s,” he underlined.
Operations Manager of Hardee’s Kuwait,Hani Abd Rabbo said that Hardee’s Kuwait annually wins 3-5 awards from Hardee’s International, and explained that Jaber Al-Ahmad branch won the first place amongst Middle East restaurants. “Earning this award from 350 competitors is a source of pride and adds high value to us, yet it also poses further challenges,” he underlined.
Abd Rabbo also stressed that Hardee’s Kuwait won four international awards over the past five years and that this was an accomplishment achieved thanks to the cooperation of all staff members and observing the highest levels of quality.
Abd Rabbo added that Kuwait is considered special for Hardee’s International and that a huge portion of its sales are made in Kuwait branches. “Hardee’s is all over Kuwaiti areas and we have plans to open more branches in 2018 in residential areas where we already have ones or in those we do not,” he reiterated.
