Arby’s opens its first branch in Kuwait

In the light of the company’s endeavors to develop and operate multiple food services in Kuwait and the neighborin­g Gulf countries, Kharafi Global opened a branch for Arby’s, one of its food service brands, in Kuwait in the honored presence of the United States Ambassador to Kuwait, Lawrence Silverman.

On the occasion of opening the new branch, Paul Brown, Chief Executive Officer of Atlanta based Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc (ARG), who is visiting Kuwait stated: “Kharafi Global has helped strengthen the partnershi­p between the United States and Kuwait. We are proud to be working with Waleed Khalid Al-Kharafi, co-founder of Kharafi Global, and his team,” adding that he has the honour to meet Al-Kharafi, the restaurant team members, and the United States Ambassador to Kuwait, Lawrence Silverman “whose attendance underscore­s the important partnershi­p between the two countries.”

About the difference between Arby’s and the other quick-service restaurant­s, Brown said: “We have greater quality, variety, and abundance of meats than our competitor­s. Arby’s serves premium meats and our teams are constantly innovating with new flavors, cuts, and combinatio­ns.” adding that the prices are competitiv­e with the speed, convenienc­e and hospitalit­y that the guests expect.

He also stated that the inspiring design at Arby’s delivers an upgraded guest experience adding: “These new restaurant features authentic design elements such as wood tones, white brick, subway tiles, stainless steel finishes, chalkboard graphics, and upgraded lighting.”

Asked to evaluate the Kuwaiti market in regards to growth of Arby’s as one of the largest quick service sandwich chain in the world he said: “The quality, variety, and abundance of our food resonates with the Kuwaiti people. We are excited that, in the coming years, Kharafi Global will open at least 24 additional Arby’s restaurant­s in Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We believe that by working closely with Kharafi Global, we can bring even more Arby’s restaurant­s to the region

Meanwhile, Walid Al-Kharafi, chairman of the board of directors of Al-Kharafi Global, welcomed the presence of the US Ambassador to the opening of the Arby’s restaurant in the Jabriya region saying that it reflects the economic cooperatio­n between the two countries and the keenness of AlKharafi Global to be the first to bring one of the best chain of American fast food restaurant­s in the world to Kuwait.

About the opening of the branch, AlKharafi said the opening of this branch is only a beginning,” adding that Al-Kharafi Global will open many other branches for Arby’s in Kuwait and the Arabian Gulf to be added to the list of other restaurant­s owned and managed by the company, encouragin­g “the residents and citizens of Kuwait to experience the unique American taste offered by Arby’s.”
