Saudi riyals are now available at NBK multi-currency ATM at Nuwaiseeb border
KUWAIT: National Bank of Kuwait now makes it even easier, more convenient and safer for you to withdraw Saudi riyals when crossing at the Nuwaiseeb border with a newly installed multi-currency ATM.
Both NBK and non-NBK customers can withdraw Riyals for their trip into Saudi Arabia and upon returning to Kuwait, withdraw Kuwaiti dinars. Starting in early 2018, the Nuwaiseeb ATM will also offer Bahraini Dinars for withdrawal. “NBK makes travel convenient with initiatives like our multi-currency ATMs,” said Mohammed Al Othman, Deputy General Manager- Consumer Banking Group, National Bank of Kuwait.
NBK’s Multi-currency ATMs provide convenient access to fast cash 24 hours, 7 days a week in the 6 different currencies. Customers and non-customers can access several currencies at NBK’s multi-currency ATM at Kuwaiti International airport - US dollars, euros, British pound sterling, UAE dirhams, Saudi riyals and Kuwaiti dinars.
Al-Othman said “Road trips are a fun family activity and many Gulf nationals travel back and forth between Kuwait and Saudi Arabia via the Nuwaiseeb border. NBK recognized the need for a multi-currency ATM to make these trips more convenient for our customers and other travelers. We know they will find it helpful. Both NBK and non-NBK customers can withdraw funds from the multi-currency ATMs.
NBK also provides access to US Dollars at five Multicurrency ATMs, linked to its branches, around Kuwait. These branches are in the following locations: Head Office branch, Salmiya branch, Fahed Al-Salem branch, Ahmadi branch and Cinema Salmiya branch.
