Rohde & Schwarz, Gulfsat hold demo on UDH-HDR and HD solutions
KUWAIT: Within the scope of its strategic partnership with Gulfsat Communications Company, the well-known German company Rohde & Schwarz, held at the headquarters of Gulfsat a special demonstration attended by a number of the ministry’s senior officials. The demo highlighted some advanced solutions to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information which included UDH-HDR and HD solutions that enhance High Definition broadcasting services, as well as other solutions including VENICE Playout, PRISMON Multiviewer, AVHE100 Headend, DVB-S2 and DVB-T2 solutions. Other developed solutions that contribute to enhancing satellite broadcasting services were also demonstrated at an interactive session that raised the engagement of attendees. The session also evolved a discussion of DVB-T2 solutions.
On this occasion, Mohammed Al-Haj, Chairman and CEO of Gulfsat Company, stated that the Company was keen to provide state-of-the-art technological solutions in the field of TV broadcasting and re-broadcasting and communications designed to enhance the quality of media content for the Kuwaiti recipient in particular.
