Honda Alghanim partners with INJAZ Kuwait in Job Shadow program

KUWAIT: Following the start of its partnership with the non-profit youth development organization INJAZ Kuwait, Honda Alghanim hosted the Job Shadow program in its showroom, training 21 students from the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK) on customer service and the operations of the service center and showroom sales.

The students, who are majoring in Business Management, received hands-on training and experience from the professionals at Honda Alghanim who maintain an advanced level of service from sales to after-sales following international servicing standards and provide a smooth and unique experience in line with Honda’s customer service culture.

With the completion of the first program in its partnership with INJAZ Kuwait, Honda Alghanim continues to commit to supporting the youth in the country, contributing to the promotion of knowledge, professional growth, skills and career development.

The Job Shadow program also held a brainstorming session where students developed new innovative ideas on how to improve the quality of work and service.

The partnership with INJAZ Kuwait comes as part of Honda’s philosophy “Power of Dreams”, which reflects the belief that dreams should be combined with skill in order to be achieved. Honda was fond of saying “If you can dream it, you can build it. If you use your imagination and pair that with sound and innovative engineering, you can achieve what other people can only dream about.” The partnership with INJAZ is a means to cultivate that same power of dreams to empower the youth to achieve their goals.

As part of the partnership, Honda Alghanim will also host the rest of the organization’s programs throughout the year and focus on providing participating students with the opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship and acquire the knowledge and skills to prepare them for their future career.

Customers can take any of Honda’s wide range of cars on a test drive by visiting one of the two Honda Alghanim showrooms located in Al-Rai and Shuwaikh. The Honda Alghanim showroom in Al-Rai area operates from 9 am to 10 pm, Saturday to Thursday, and from 9.30 am until 10 pm on Fridays. The Shuwaikh showroom operates from 9 am to 10 pm. The cars service center waiting lounge offers entertainment and comfort for customers, digital satellite TV, free wireless internet and relaxing massage chairs.
