Amir receives Saudi Royal Court advisor
Defense Minister receives official invitation to visit Saudi Arabia
KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received yesterday at Sief Palace Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Prince Turki Bin Mohammad Bin Fahad Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The reception was attended by Acting Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah. The Saudi guest later met with His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak AlHamad Al-Sabah as well.
Meanwhile, Prince Turki met with Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and delivered to him an official invitation to visit Saudi Arabia from Saudi Crown Prince, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The meeting between Sheikh Nasser and Prince Turki focused on issues of mutual interest as well as topics connected with bilateral relations and means to develop them, the Defense Ministry’s Public Relations Department said.
Earlier yesterday, His Highness the Amir received His Highness the Crown Prince, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak and Sheikh Nasser Sabah AlHamad. Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince received Ghanem, His Highness Sheikh Jaber AlMubarak, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. His Highness Sheikh Nawaf also met with Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Adel Musaed Al-Kharafi and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Al-Sabeeh.
In other news, His Highness the Amir sent a cable of condolences to the Philippines’ President Rodrigo Duterte, expressing deepest sorrow and sympathy to those who fell victim to floods and landslides caused by Tropical Storm Tembin. His Highness the Amir wished for the swift recovery of those affected by the storm, which hit southern Philippines. His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister sent similar cables.
