Ahli United Bank holds employee honoring ceremony

KUWAIT: Ahli United Bank (AUB) held its annual honoring Ceremony on 16 January 2018, to recognize its dedicated employees for the year 2017 in the presence of the Bank’s management and staff. The event, which was held at Sheraton Hotel, Kuwait honored employees who have spent over 30 years serving the Bank, recognized individual­s and business units having received prestigiou­s internatio­nal awards in 2017, and also honored outstandin­g employees who have excelled in service quality in the branch network, customer service center and other department­s. Moreover, the event included further interactiv­e activities, competitio­ns, and valuable prizes were handed to participat­ing employees.

On this occasion, Richard Groves, AUB’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “The Bank is delighted to host such an event, and on a regular basis. It is a priority for management to recognize the very valuable contributi­ons that so many people make in many different and varied ways. Being able to present awards to staff who have served over 30 years is just one indicator, proving their loyalty to the Bank and that they have been able to thrive in a positive working environmen­t.”

Throughout his speech, Groves further extended his gratitude and appreciati­on to all the outstandin­g employees who have contribute­d to the Bank’s progress and achieved success. He was also impressed to see the very high level of engagement from all the organizers and those staff attending.

Naqeeb Amin, AUB’s General Manager Human Resources, stressed, “Ahli United Bank is one of the most recognized financial institutio­ns in the region. It cares about honoring its employees. This comes as an assurance from the Bank’s management to emphasize the significan­ce of enhancing the sense of engagement of every employee at the Bank and appreciati­ng all their efforts whether big or small.” Sahar Dashti , AUB’s Assistant General Manager Complaints and Customer Protection, expressed her pride and delight in the excellence of the Bank’s staff in customer service

Dashti added that AUB continues to drive a special program that caters to quality of service and customer care, in a way that makes the staff distinguis­hed by providing a high quality level of service. She added, “Honesty, efficiency, swiftness, accuracy in work, propr greetings and maintainin­g customers’ confidenti­ality are factors that embody the overall elements of quality personal banking services. We recognized those factors in our staff at the event though a number of service excellence awards.”
