Amir to sponsor cultural center’s opening
KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Seif Palace yesterday His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. His Highness the Amir also received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, National Assembly’s Deputy Speaker Essa Al-Kandari and First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad AlJaber Al-Sabah.

In other news, His Highness the Amir is set today to sponsor and attend the inauguration of the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Center, located in AlShaab. Separately, His Highness the Amir sent a cable to President of Finland Sauli Niinisto congratulating him on his re-election as president of the republic. His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister sent similar cables to the Finnish president. Also yesterday, His Highness the Amir sent a cable of condolence to US President Donald Trump over the victims of a train collision in North Carolina, which left a number of victims dead or injured. Two similar cables were also sent to the US president by His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister.
