Zain participates in responsibility forum
KUWAIT: Zain, a pioneer in mobile telecommunications in Kuwait, participated in the ‘responsibility and accountability’ forum, which was organized recently by the National Assembly in presence of the assembly’s Secretary General Allam Al-Kandari.
Zain was represented at the forum by Corporate Communications and Relations Executive Director Waleed Al-Khashti, who participated in several discussions alongside a group of leaders, experts, and specialists from both public and private sectors that focused on the principle of job responsibility and its relation to the development of the establishment, as well as the effects of administrative accountability on the job performance.
Khashti presented Zain’s pioneering experience in providing distinguished work environment besides exhibiting high efficiency. Furthermore, Khashti highlighted the importance of vision, mission and values in developing the establishment. Zain’s participation reflects the spirit of cooperation between public and private sectors, which is realized through participating in the development of competent manpower in various establishments and state departments. In this regard, Khashti reiterated that Zain appreciates the state’s efforts in concentrating on the importance of national labor’s role in all sectors.
The forum was directed towards officials and supervisors of the National Assembly’s secretariat general, who participated in the event in order to exchange expertise and develop their level of performance. Discussions focused on the role of higher administration in boosting human capabilities, in addition to the importance of implementing the principle of job responsibility and comparing its methods in the public and private sectors.
Zain considers itself a major partner of the society especially in developmental initiatives that add to national resources, as it believes in the capabilities of young national manpower, and offers job opportunities to them out of its belief in investing in the development of national manpower. It also gives priority for national labor in its future plans, and adheres to its social mission and the responsibility it has in this regard, which is why it is keen on performing its social role parallel to its commercial activity.
