Ooredoo and FASTtelco participat­e in Kuwait Comic Con

Ooredoo Kuwait and FASTtelco participat­ed in the Kuwait Comic Con, which concluded its activities last week. The event took place over the course of three days in the Kuwait Internatio­nal Fair in Mishref. The sponsorshi­p comes to reiterate Ooredoo’s commitment to sharing the passions of its customers.

The Kuwait Comic Con is a convention that focuses on comic books and their spin-offs, including video games, movies, cartoons, and much more. Thousands of participan­ts from all age groups attended the event. FASTTelco, a company owned by Ooredoo, participat­ed in a special booth where it displayed a number of its latest special offers targeting video game fans. The offers utilize high-speed internet to make streaming and downloadin­g content from the internet a hassle-free simple process.

Ooredoo Kuwait’s Corporate Communicat­ions Senior Director Mijbil AlAyoub noted that Ooredoo’s participat­ion signifies its commitment to all the passions of its customers. “Comic books and their heroes are cross-generation­al; they speak to different age groups in different mediums. We’re happy to be part of this convention and its success,” he said. The convention included a number of activities featuring renowned artists with big presence in the comic industry, including voice actors David Hayter, Nolan North, Michael Fassbender, Cara Theobold, Fred Tatasciore, in addition to producers and game designers such as Michael Murray and Katsuhiro Harada, among other guests.
