KIB celebrates National and Liberation Days

As part of its commitment to commemorating national occasions and events, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) recently participated in the National and Liberation Days celebration organized by the Joint Banking Company (JBC), alongside Ahli Bank of Kuwait (AUB) and Industrial Bank of Kuwait (IBK), The celebration took place in the outside court area of the JBC complex, and was attended by a large number of employees from across all three banks, as well as their families and friends.

The festivities featured a number of fun and entertaining activities, including the hoisting of the Kuwaiti flag and the distribution of traditional Kuwaiti sweets. Furthermore, the three head offices were all decked out in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, amidst an atmosphere of national pride and festive celebrations.

On this occasion, Sara Al-Baba, Senior Internal Communications Officer at KIB’s Human Resources Department, said: “We are thrilled to once again be a part of this festivity in partnership with our neighboring banks. There is no greater time in Kuwait than our national celebrations, and I pray that our beloved Kuwait continues to thrive and prosper in peace and serenity.”

Baba further lauded the efforts of the teams from across all three banks for their dedicated efforts in organizing this event. She also noted that this year’s event proved to be a tremendous hit, and one of the biggest and most successful national celebrations organized by the JBC in years.

It serves to note that KIB has always sought to fulfill its national social responsibility towards its local community across all fronts and in all areas. This National Day celebration came in line with the Bank’s ongoing commitment to participating in various national events, and sharing the joy of national festivities with the people of Kuwait.
