Kuwait Ninth Tennis Open 2018
KUWAIT: Activities of Kuwait Ninth Tennis Open 2018, which started on March 4th under the patronage of President of Arab and Kuwait Tennis Associations, Honorary President of Asian Tennis Association Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Abdallah Al-Sabah continued at the Tennis Center of KTA, in Yarmouk Sports Club.
This is the biggest tennis tournament organized and supervised by KTA during the entire tennis season, and attracts a large number of players both citizens and expats in various age groups of both genders including members of the diplomatic core.
Results of Friday saw Mohammad Qilli defeat Yousuf Al-Faraj 9/2, Mahdi Abbas defeat Al-Bader 9/3, Tariq Masoud defeat Khal AlMutairi 9/3, Yousuf Fabian defeat Ahmad Al-Humaidan 9/8, Fahad AlDaihani defeat Mohammad Al-Tarkeet 9/1, Ali Bu Abbas defeat Shamlan Ali 9/8, Ibrahim Firas defeat Musaed Maddouh 9/7, Fadi Michael defeat Ali Al-Shimmari 9/0, Ozhan Canon beat Mohammad Al-Failakawi 9/0, in under 11 category.
Meanwhile in the U13 Arian Shako defeated Fignaish Suhail Ram 9/7 and Maxwell Indiset defeated Abdallah Humoud 9/0.
In the U-17, Satish Mani defeated Hassan Al-Bahrani 6/0-6/0.
In the U-18 girl’s category Ritaj Hussein defeated Hussa Al-Ajmi 9/0, Farida Al-Ayyat defeated Marian Safar 9/0, Kafni Ranbara defeated Anja Alisic 9/5, Silina Al-Samrani defeated Farah Al-Bahar 9/0, and Salhitchia Edvi defeated Muna Al-Haddad 9/3.
In the women’s individual category Sarah Behbehani defeated Jacklene Marbio 9/1, Manar Al-Jazaf defeated Nouf Al-Sebeeh 9/0, Fatima Al-Awadhi defeated Nada Al-Sabah 9/0, Jairood Odail defeated Farah Al-Haqqan 9/7, Tamara Elicidec defeated Dana Khaja 9/0 and Ayesha Al-Dayouli defeated Sheikha Ibrahim Al-Duaij 9/0.
In the men’s individual: Hussein Shams defeated Shadi Safi 6/4, 6/3, Essa Qabazard defeated Hussein Al-Mousawi 6/2, 6/2, Omar AlOthman defeated Mishal Al-Jenfawi 6/1, 6/2, Ahmad Murad defeated Abdallah Jaouli 7/6, 6/0, Daniel Namour defeated Fawzi Al-Hudrub 6/0, 6/0 and Tariq Al-Qaderi defeated Salman Murad 6/3, 3/6, 10/6.
In the men’s doubles Rashid Al-Jaafar and Jassem Al-Jaafar defeated Abdelwahab Al-Sharaf and Ali Al-Qallaf 7/5, 6/4 and the Dashti brothers defeated Abdallah Al-Haraz and Abdallah Bu Hamad 1/6. 7/6, 11/9, Ahmad Murad and Ali Murad defeated Paul Robert and Daniel Namour 6/3, 6/4, and Hani Shams and Hadi Jamal defeated Salman Murad and Ikram Al-Haq by 7/5, 5/7, 11/9.
