Ooredoo concludes 3rd Jahzeen program
KUWAIT: Ooredoo Kuwait concluded the activities of Jahzeen training program in its third edition, graduating 40 students in different fields and specialties. The program, which was launched three years ago was sponsored by Ooredoo from its first edition. The program is also sponsored by the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program, Al Mulla Group, and the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs.
The program, which features training courses and seminars, targets fresh graduates as well as newly recruited youth. The sponsorship stems from Ooredoo’s core values of caring and connecting with the community, especially as youth in Kuwait compromise more than 60 percent of the population and are certainly an important asset worth investing in. Commenting on this, Ooredoo Kuwait’s Senior Director of Corporate Communications noted that the program is reflective
of the core values at Ooredoo, which is empowering youth.
He noted that the support for youth-centric initiatives reflects the company’s wishes to embrace the directions of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who noted on several occasions the importance of investing in youth and supporting them reach their potential. Alayoub added: “We are proud of all the participants in the program, and wish all the best of luck to the 40 graduates. We certainly hope that they benefited from the program’s seminars and training courses.”
The program helped 400 students since its launch in 2015. It targets three segments: University students in their final year, university graduates, and newly recruited youth no longer than 3 years working. The program is divided into four segments. The first segment consists of training courses and programs that cover career essentials, such as succeeding in job interviews, writing CVs, team work, and workplace legal framework. The second segment consists of success stories told through seminars by exemplary Kuwaiti professionals, while the third segment consists of an assessment test, which will be conducted in cooperation with Profile International, followed by one-on-one sessions to assist applicants in choosing their career paths.
