EQUATE participat­es in KU’s career fair

KUWAIT: In its endeavor to attract the best human capital for the continued growth of the industry and economy, EQUATE Petrochemi­cal Company, a global producer of petrochemi­cals, continues supporting the profession­al developmen­t of students by participat­ing in the 18th Annual Career Fair at Kuwait’s University’s (KU) College of Engineerin­g & Petroleum. EQUATE’s Human Resources Talent & Performanc­e Management Leader Hussain AlOmran said, “EQUATE prides itself with having propelled its growth from Kuwait.

Throughout the fair, EQUATE’s team will be interactin­g with students from different majors, such as chemical engineerin­g, to attract, train, develop and qualify our most important elements which are the human resources. Our collaborat­ion with KU includes a memorandum of understand­ing that covers academic, scientific and other fields, which are part of EQUATE’s Sustainabi­lity Strategy to support the New Kuwait 2035 Vision.” During the first quarter of 2018, EQUATE recruited over 35 Kuwaiti fresh graduates from various majors. The company aims to increase its current 54% of local human resources.
