Ooredoo Kuwait sponsors training forum for young engineers
KUWAIT: Ooredoo Kuwait participated in the Kuwait Forum of Training Young Engineers, which kicked off its three-day activities agenda on Sunday in Al Raya Hotel. The event, which was organized by the Kuwait Engineers Society, saw participation from various private and public sector entities, and was inaugurated by Minister of Commerce Khaled Al-Roudan.
As part of the program’s agenda, Ooredoo was awarded for its participation as one of the main sponsors of the forum by Faisal Al-Atel and the organizers. Commenting on this, Ooredoo Kuwait’s Corporate Communications Senior Director Mijbil Alayoub underscored Ooredoo’s commitment to supporting young talent, especially in establishing their career. He noted, “We are proud to participate in this event with such esteemed regional and international entities, to support young engineers carve their career path. Our corporate social responsibility agenda in Ooredoo Kuwait focuses greatly on youth because we strongly believe in the great role they have in building the future.”
The forum included a number of workshops and seminars presented by representatives from a number of regional and international leading entities such as SMA, AUTODESK, EUGCC, Red Smith, FIDIC, Kuwait Airways, the Arab Engineers Union, and the Jordan Engineers Association. Ooredoo Kuwait works extensively with private and public sector organizations such as universities in addition to the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program around the year to support youth professional development.
