KCST hosts seminar on Introducing Art

Kuwait College of Science and Technology hosted a seminar on Introducing Art into the education of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) to raise the level of education for our future generations. Dr. Fatima Bouzkart, PhD in Mathematics and Educational Sciences from Erzis University in Turkey, and visiting professor at the Institute of Applied Technology in Abu Dhabi, visited us on April 10, 2018 on the campus of KCST in Doha. Students of the university and academic staff were present.

The President of the University, Professor Khalid Al-Begain, expressed his cheerfulness in the presence of our progenies for such valuably educational

seminars. This will expand their awareness at a world-class level, allowing them to see a clear, tangible and real vision to keep in touch with what is happening in the world. Professor Khalid also added that the establishment and periodicity of scientific lectures instills in our children commitment, and sets goals to assist them in achieving their goals, for they are the future speakers of KCST and the State of Kuwait.

He pointed to the scientific quality provided by Professor Fatima Bouzkart and the need for future cooperation between the educational administration and marketing to introduce such programs to improve teamwork. This seminar is the first step towards changing the educational concept of the fourth generation and its application on real grounds. Dr. Ali Yousef, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Kuwait College of Science and Technology, praised the lecture and advised students to come and discuss the topic on changing the concept of education for future generations.
