KFH holds Ramadan ghabqa for media
Al-Fares recognizes journalists’ efforts in media
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) held its annual ghabqa for media representatives as a token of appreciation for their efforts and their instrumental role in enriching the media and the economy. Also, the ghabqa comes as part of the bank’s keenness to strengthen communication with media outlets. The media ghabqa witnessed remarkable attendance of journalists and reporters from different media types; print, broadcast and digital media.
Senior Manager Media and Government Relations at KFH Mohammed Al-Fares, welcomed everyone to the ghabqa and congratulated them on the occasion of Ramadan. He extended the bank’s thanks and gratitude for their efforts in the media, yet hailed their important role in tracking news and highlighting different issues of interest to the society. He added that KFH attaches great interest in the media industry that has witnessed a paradigm shift while keeping abreast of technology and electronic developments.
He indicated KFH has unveiled its Ramadan program “increase good deeds in Ramadan 4” that includes various visits and voluntary work, social and humanitarian events and activities stemming from the bank’s endeavors to solidify its commitment towards the society, while supporting all social and humanitarian initiatives.
Meanwhile, the journalists applauded KFH efforts in providing the media with information that serve their career and the business content. It is worth noting that KFH issued the second edition of ‘The Pioneers of Islamic Economy’ book that tackles topics of the succession of generations in the service of the Islamic economy, the Islamic business model, the role of KFH in serving the community, and the personalities that contributed to the establishment of KFH and the expansion of its businesses.
It also explains the emergence of the idea of the Islamic economy, the stage of establishing Islamic banks, the difficulties faced by KFH, and the improvement of performance in numbers, profits and distributions.
