KIB celebrates girgian with children at Farwaniya Hospital

Kuwait International Bank (KIB) organized a visit to the children’s department at Farwaniya Hospital on the occasion of girgian. The visit aimed at celebrating this joyous occasion with children and spreading the spirit of girgian by distributing gifts and sweets amongst them.

Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at KIB, Nawaf Najia, said: “Visiting sick children and their families to celebrate the joy of girgian is a tradition we are committed to upholding every year during Ramadan. This visit comes as part of our unwavering commitment to humanitarian activities, as well as our dedication to engaging with all segments of the community under our new slogan ‘Bank for Life’.”

Naija pointed out that the initiative aimed at sharing the wonderful and joyous spirit of traditional events that take place in Ramadan, such as girgian. The Bank is particularly adamant on putting smiles on the faces of sick people and bringing hope to their hearts. Additionally, KIB is dedicated to increasing its visits to civil institutions and hospitals, as part of its leading social responsibility program aimed at all segments of the community.

It is worth mentioning that girgian is among the most important initiatives and activities within KIB’s Ramadan campaign. The Bank aims at organizing a number of humanitarian activities throughout Ramadan to support the community, enhance the lines of communication, as well as strengthen religious values.
