KIPCO signs MoU with B Wireless to provide free internet access

KUWAIT: KIPCO - the Kuwait Projects Company (Holding) has signed a memorandum of understanding with B. Wireless whereby the latter will provide free internet access at Hessah Al Mubarak District for three years. KIPCO is the master planner of Hessah Al Mubarak District, Kuwait’s first-ever comprehensive, mixed-use district built by the private sector. The district covers an area of 227,066 sq/m at a prime location on the outskirts of Kuwait City. Speaking on this occasion, Mr Tawfiq Al Jarrah, Executive Director of Hessah Al Mubarak District said:

“Our vision for Hessah District is to create an urban cluster that attracts the younger generation by combining leisure, work and shopping. Having an infrastructure in place that ensures ease of connectivity is one step towards realizing this vision. We are delighted to be partnering with B. Wireless on this, as we begin to shape the unprecedented experience we have promised our residents.”

On his part, Mr Meshaal Alebrahim, Chief Executive Officer at B. Wireless said: “This is a new milestone for B.
