Amir sends cable of thanks to Saudi King for his hospitality
Sheikh Sabah welcomes outcomes of summit
KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of thanks to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the hospitality offered to him during his visit to sisterly Saudi Arabia where he attended a summit on shoring up the Jordanian economy in Holy Makkah on Sunday night.
His Highness the Amir expressed profound joy for meeting his brothers, the Jordanian King Abdullah II
and the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al Maktoum. His Highness the Amir welcomed the outcomes of the summit and expressed his best wishes for King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the people of sisterly Saudi Arabia under the wise leadership of the King.
His Highness the Amir and his accompanying delegation
had returned in the early morning yesterday from Saudi Arabia after attending the four-party summit in Makkah on shoring up the Jordanian economy. His Highness the Amir was received at the airport by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and senior officials.
His Highness the Amir was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah
Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh, Chief of Staff of His Highness the Amir’s Office Ahmad Fahad Al-Fahad, Chief of Amiri Protocol Department Sheikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah and Deputy Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Jarallah. In other news, Jordanian King Abdullah II, accompanied by a delegation, is set to arrive in Kuwait today on a fraternal visit.
