NBK announces winners of ‘Car of Your Choice’ and the winner of KD 250,000

NBK celebrates exciting and fun-filled mega day, holds Al-Jawhara draws

KUWAIT: The National Bank of Kuwait celebrated its exciting, fun-filled annual mega day on Friday (28th September) at the Grand Avenue, The Avenues, in the presence of officials from the Bank, comprising Salah AlFulaij, Chief Executive Officer, NBK-Kuwait, Mohammed Al Othman, General Manager of Consumer Banking Group, National Bank of Kuwait, Emad Al-Ablani, General Manager- Group Human Resources, National Bank of Kuwait and Hanadi Khazal, Chief Marketing Officer, National Bank of Kuwait. The event received a great attendance from customers and visitors, giving them a chance to win valuable prizes in the activities that were planned during the day.

NBK also announced during the event the winner of KD 250,000 in Al-Jawhara account’s quarterly draw, in addition to the five winners in the Summer Campaign’s “Win a Car of Your Choice” and the winners in the Zlatan draw campaign. The draws were held live in the presence of representa­tive from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

Five winners of a car of their choice

The Mega Day kicked off at noon with activities hosted by presenter Salman Al-Nejadi and covered live by Kuwait Pulse FM 88.8, interactin­g with the crowds to take part in fun-filled games and win immediate prizes. At 4 pm, the performanc­es began with a special show organized in partnershi­p with Kidzania, followed by a performanc­e by a traditiona­l band for everyone to enjoy. Live competitio­ns then took place to win valuable cash prizes as well as prizes from stores participat­ing in NBK’s Rewards Program.

Winners in the draws of the campaigns launched since the beginning of summer were also announced. The five winners in the “Win a Car of Your Choice” draw as part of NBK’s Summer Campaign are: Hamad Mohamed Yousef Al-Sabah, Rabih Said Mekadachi, Ghadeer Salem Hussain Al-Haddad, Ali Naser Ali Mohammad Ali and Mun Soo Park. The 5 winners were awarded with an NBK Prepaid Card loaded with KD 20,000 to be spent on the car of the winner’s choice at any vehicle dealership inside Kuwait. The quarterly draw of Al-Jawhara account was also held live, in addition to the winners in the Zlatan campaign exclusive to holders of the FIFA World Cup Visa Prepaid Card, in which the winners took home jerseys signed by the famed football player, Zlatan Ibrahimovi.

Winner of KD 250,000

During the event, the quarterly draw of Al-Jawhara account was held live, announcing Ahmad Nassim Mahmoud Eid as the winner of KD 250,000. The draw was held in the presence of the representa­tive of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

NBK allows customers to automatica­lly enter the draws of Al-Jawhara account, giving them a chance to win KD 5,000 weekly, KD 125,000 monthly and a KD 250,000 grand prize quarterly, for every KD 50 deposited into their account. The minimum amount that can be deposited in the account is KD 400 and the maximum is KD 500,000. If no withdrawal­s or transfers occur on the account during the required period, customers will receive an additional chance to enter the draw for every KD 50 held in the account, doubling their chance to win.

Continued success and excellence Sharing the excitement of the crowds at NBK’s Mega Day, Mohammed Al-Othman, General Manager of Consumer Banking Group, National Bank of Kuwait, said, “We have once again concluded a unique Mega Day in which we aimed at rewarding our loyal customers through activities, draws and prizes. This year’s event distinguis­hes itself with the quality of competitio­ns, offers and cash prizes that were distribute­d to winners. The event comes as part of our continued commitment to interactin­g and engaging with our customers and provide them with a fun-filled day for the whole family to enjoy.”

Al-Othman added, “This year, we ensured to introduce the technologi­cally-advanced services that were recently launched by the Bank, enabling our customers to complete their transactio­ns in simple steps through NBK Online and Mobile banking services, without having to visit their nearest branch.”

Commenting on the success of the event, Hanadi Khazal, Chief Marketing Officer, Consumer Banking Group, National Bank of Kuwait, said: “We are very happy with the positive response received during our Mega Day. We wanted to engage with our loyal customers by dedicating a day for them and their families while also holding our draws live to announce in front of the crowds the names of winners in our biggest campaign for the year, the “Win a Car of Your Choice” which was designed to give our customers the opportunit­y to choose and personaliz­e the car they want to own.”

“The success of NBK’s Mega Day is a proof of our commitment to customer satisfacti­on and to providing them with the best level of service through advanced products, campaignin­g and events,” added Khazal.

Advanced technologi­es

During the event, the crowds were introduced to NBK’s technologi­cally-advanced services, starting with the Tap & Pay feature available at ATMs which enables customers to withdraw and deposit money with a simple tap and without inserting their card when using the NBK Tap & Pay. In addition to this new feature, customers can also enjoy cardless cash withdrawal­s using their Civil ID or mobile phone number. They can also update their Civil ID details through the ATMs. The Bank also introduced the latest updates to NBK’s Online and Mobile banking services, in addition to the direct Video Chat service allowing customers to speak face-to-face with NBK Service Officers. Two New Campaigns: Cashback and Win a GAC Car NBK concluded the Mega Day with an announceme­nt of two new and upcoming campaigns: The cashback campaign and another campaign launched in collaborat­ion with GAC Motor.

NBK customers will have the opportunit­y to win a car from GAC Motor by simply downloadin­g and using the NBK’s Mobile Banking Applicatio­n or making transactio­ns through the ITM machine. Al-Shabab account holders will be eligible to enter a separate draw to win a car from GAC Motor.

NBK holds the Mega Day every year to reward its customers through an entertaini­ng day that targets them and their families, in addition to announcing the winners of NBK’s largest campaigns during the year. The Bank aims to remain their first choice when looking for the banking experience that best suits their needs.
