Gulf Bank is sponsoring the 4th edition of the Fikra Program

KUWAIT: Gulf Bank has announced, for the third consecutiv­e year, its gold sponsorshi­p for the 4th edition of the Fikra Program. Built on the goal to create an innovative and entreprene­urial generation, the program equips the youth in Kuwait with essential business skills and knowledge required to succeed and develop their own businesses ideas. This year’s program was announced during a press conference on the 7 October 2018 at Al Hamra Business Towers.

Ahmed Al Amir, Assistant General Manager for External Communicat­ion, Gulf Bank, said: “There is a great deal of business potential among the youth of Kuwait, so our collaborat­ion with Fikra Program is valuable to provide aspiring entreprene­urs with the steps to build their business careers and help turn exciting ideas into realistic business ventures. We are excited to welcome Kuwait’s entreprene­urs to support and guide them through their journey and bring them closer to their business dreams.”

Fikra Program was launched in 2015 as a corporate social responsibi­lity program. It is an intensive entreprene­urship training program open to the country’s youth graduated with any major who can apply individual­ly or in a team. Providing one-to-one mentorship for guidance and support as well as business training through workshops and field trips.
