Kuwait-based COFE App ‘one of the top 50 startups to watch for’

KUWAIT: COFE App, an online coffee-centric marketplac­e, was the only Kuwait-based startup listed as one of the “Top 50 Startups to Watch in the Arab World” by FORBES Middle East. Conceptual­ized in Kuwait and developed in Silicon Valley, the app connects coffee house chains and speciality coffee roasters with coffee lovers through a seamless, easy and efficient user-interface.

Created by a multinatio­nal team of technology profession­als who are also coffee enthusiast­s, the app has quickly penetrated the market. COFE App has carved itself a niche among coffee lovers and early adopters in a marketplac­e where coffee is an essential part of daily life and local culture.

Multiple payment options, including cash-on delivery, debit cards and credit on the account.

COFE App was Beta launched in February 2018 in Kuwait, and will soon be available in other countries.

GGGGGDoha students visit Ooredoo’s HQ

KUWAIT: Ooredoo Kuwait, in collaborat­ion with Qatar Foundation and Doroub Agency organized a visit for students that came to Kuwait from Doha last Tuesday in the company’s head office, in which they had a chance to meet Ooredoo’s Chief Executive Officer, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah AlThani, where they had the opportunit­y to ask questions and share their thoughts on the Telecom Industry.

Al-Thani shared his industry knowledge and career experience­s with the students, sharing his life lessons and taking them through Ooredoo’s CSR strategy in which supporting the youth and empowering them is one of its main pillars. Furthermor­e, taking them through the strategy of reflecting Ooredoo’s vision of the company’s core values of caring, connecting and challengin­g.

Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Developmen­t is a private,

non-profit organizati­on that serves the people of Qatar by supporting and operating programs in three core mission areas: education, science, research, and community developmen­t.
