NBK sponsors LOYAC’s trip to China
KUWAIT: The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) is sponsoring a trip for LOYAC’s students to China. This sponsorship reflects NBK’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility as well as the vital role it plays in supporting students, youths and selfbuilding initiatives in Kuwait.
The initiative goes with NBK’s support to LOYAC’s annual activities and events including the international and cultural trips. A group of 12 volunteers age 14-18 from different backgrounds are participating in this trip which is designed to build the leadership skills in their personality and enrich the cultural exchange.
This nine-day trip includes a group of social initiatives, interacting with different cultures and volunteering. During this trip, participants will be introduced to China’s different cultures and learn Chinese
daily life routine. NBK always strives to empower Kuwaiti youth to realize their potentials, build their personalities and motivates their ambition. This trip with LOYAC comes in line with the bank’s strategy to invest in youth and develop their capabilities.
China will be the first trip this year sponsored by NBK with LOYAC, followed by Cambodia. NBK looks forward to experience the inspiring trip, living with the local families, hanging out with the youth, contributing to the community and exploring the treasures of its cities.
Throughout the program, Loyacers will be engaging in stimulating discussions about various aspects of each society to gain a deeper understanding of what makes our cultures unique and beautiful. In addition, the program includes cultural exchange, visiting The Panda Center, Mont Qingcheng, the Great Mosque in Xi’an, the famed Terraotta Warriors, The Great Wall of China and doing community service.
LOYAC is a nonprofit organization that runs several programs for the youth to develop their professional skills, enhance their personal growth and help them find their sense of purpose by extending themselves to others.
