VIVA extends internship program in line with CSR agenda

KUWAIT: VIVA, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers and enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, and a subsidiary of STC Group, continues to roll out its internship program to different groups of students coming from various universities, introducing them to the company’s work culture and main roles of the key divisions and departments. The training agenda was designed according to several specialized programs prepared in collaboration with local universities to ensure that it complements their specific majors. This program falls in line with VIVA’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plan, which embeds innovative and engaging initiatives that benefit the community, using a long-term holistic integrated approach. The interns were given hands-on training at the office, allowing them to compare, contrast and apply what they have studied on real life projects and activities. Interns were also introduced to the workplace environment by working side by side with company employees, preparing and supporting them to be ready for the job market.

VIVA is keen to continue its ongoing socially responsible role in the community in the fields of education, health, sports, environment and entrepreneurship, by spreading the spirit of goodwill amongst the Kuwaiti society.
