Gulf Bank provides funding for major oil, infrastruc­ture and constructi­on projects

Bank participat­es in achieving ‘Kuwait Vision 2035’

KUWAIT: Gulf Bank announced it has recently financed a number of vital developmen­t projects in line with the Kuwait National Developmen­t Plan stemming from His Highness the Amir’s vision for the country, New Kuwait 2035. Gulf Bank has provided funding for various projects in the oil, constructi­on and infrastruc­ture sectors through direct financing or through partnershi­ps with other local banks.

In the past five years, Gulf Bank has been an instrument­al part of pioneering and financing several noteworthy projects in the country, including: the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway project linking Kuwait City to Sabya, and the residentia­l city of Sabah AlAhmad. In addition, Gulf Bank has financed the constructi­on of projects such as: the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center (JACC), the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center, the Farwaniya Hospital expansion, and several colleges at the Sabah Al-Salem Kuwait University City in AlShadadiy­ah. Gulf Bank has also been instrument­al in financing several oil sector projects, including the Kuwait National Petroleum Company’s clean fuel project and a portion of the Al-Zour oil refinery.
