Gulf Bank provides funding for major oil, infrastructure and construction projects
Bank participates in achieving ‘Kuwait Vision 2035’
KUWAIT: Gulf Bank announced it has recently financed a number of vital development projects in line with the Kuwait National Development Plan stemming from His Highness the Amir’s vision for the country, New Kuwait 2035. Gulf Bank has provided funding for various projects in the oil, construction and infrastructure sectors through direct financing or through partnerships with other local banks.
In the past five years, Gulf Bank has been an instrumental part of pioneering and financing several noteworthy projects in the country, including: the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Causeway project linking Kuwait City to Sabya, and the residential city of Sabah AlAhmad. In addition, Gulf Bank has financed the construction of projects such as: the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center (JACC), the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center, the Farwaniya Hospital expansion, and several colleges at the Sabah Al-Salem Kuwait University City in AlShadadiyah. Gulf Bank has also been instrumental in financing several oil sector projects, including the Kuwait National Petroleum Company’s clean fuel project and a portion of the Al-Zour oil refinery.
