Gulf Bank welcomes clients back to its branches

KUWAIT: Gulf Bank announced the reopening of a group of its branches after the end of the total curfew period, in compliance with the phased transition plan recently announced by the Council of Ministers aimed at gradually restoring normalcy and easing restrictio­ns put in place due to the coronaviru­s pandemic. The announceme­nt was made in coordinati­on with the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Associatio­n.

Starting Tuesday June 2, Gulf Bank’s new working hours are 9 AM to 1 PM, every day except Friday and Saturday. The Bank is currently operating at 25 percent capacity in 16 branches across Kuwait: Sharq (Ahmed Al Jaber Street), Salmiya (Salmiya Co-Op), Sabah Al-Salem, Jahra (Jahra CoOp), Jahra (next to the automated bakery), Al-Zahra, Al-Riqa, Al-Ghazali, Al-Adan, Sabahiya, Al-Qairawan, Al-Shaab, Bayan, Jabriya (individual customers), Adailiya (individual customers), and Gulf Bank’s Head Office (corporate customers).

Customers are also welcome to use Gulf Bank’s ITM (Interactiv­e Teller Machine) service at the following branches: Al-Salam, Al-Shaab, Jabriya, Al-Adan, Main Branch, Fahaheel (Al-Ghanem Electronic­s Complex). Gulf Bank’s ITM service is available from 8:30 AM until 3.30 pm.

our clients back to our branches and provide them with all the banking services necessary to support the economy, and allow businesses to operate in an easier and smoother manner.

To ensure the health and safety of both our clients and employees, we are currently operating at 25

percent capacity in accordance with the plan set by the Council of Ministers. During this phase, we will also be preparing to operate more branches and increase our capacity gradually in the coming stages.”

Gulf Bank is keen on applying all precaution­ary measures necessary across its various branches, including regular branch sanitizati­on, measuring incoming clients’ temperatur­es, maintainin­g social distance, and wearing gloves and masks. The Bank also kindly requests its clients to also take their precaution­s when visiting any branches for the health and safety of everyone.
