Amir congratulates Arab, Muslim leaders on Ramadan
KUWAIT: His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf AlAhmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah exchanged yesterday greetings with Arab and Muslim leaders on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. In the cables, His Highness the Amir wished welfare and prosperity for the Arab and Muslim nations during this joyous occasion.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received a call from Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to congratulate him on advent of the month of Ramadan. Sheikh Tamim also phoned His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, congratulating him on advent of the holy month of Ramadan. Sheikh Tamim wished Kuwait progress and prosperity under His Highness the Amir’s wise leadership. His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince thanked Sheikh Tamim for his warm gesture that embodied the historical and distinguished bonds between the two countries, and wished Qatar more progress and prosperity.
In the meantime, His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received congratulatory cables on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan from His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem and His Highness Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah. His Highness the Amir also received similar cables from His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad AlSabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Deputy Chief of the National Guard Lieutenant General Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. In the cables, they expressed their sincere congratulations and best wishes for His Highness on this occasion, wishing him continued good health and for Kuwait, all prosperity and development. In response, His Highness the Amir sent cables of thanks, including appreciation for the wholesome messages they expressed, asking Allah Almighty, on this month, to bless the homeland, as well as citizens with safety, security and prosperity.
Separately, Foreign Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser AlMohammad Al-Sabah sent cables of congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. In the cables, Sheikh Ahmad, on behalf of the foreign ministry members, wished Kuwait and its people further progress and prosperity under His Highness the Amir’s wise leadership. — KUNA
