SACGC to participat­e in Qatar web summit

KUWAIT: The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity, part of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancemen­t of Sciences (KFAS), has announced its participat­ion in Web Summit Qatar, scheduled from Feb 26 to 29. The center is supporting eight Kuwaiti entreprene­urs and startups within the youth category to showcase their projects at this prestigiou­s event.

Director General of the Center Dr Nada Al-Daihani highlighte­d that Kuwait’s presence in this global event, the first of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, serves as a platform to promote and support Kuwait on the map of global innovation and entreprene­urship. It also provides an opportunit­y to explore the latest innovation­s in the technology and programmin­g sector.

The Qatar Web Summit is a globally recognized technology conference that attracts leaders from the tech industry, investors, and emerging entreprene­urs worldwide. Daihani emphasized that the summit is part of the internatio­nal events organized by the World Web Summit, joining the ranks of the Lisbon Web Summit, Rio Web Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Collision in Toronto, and RISE in Hong Kong.

The summit is significan­t for bringing together thousands of entreprene­urs, investors, and internatio­nal leaders in Doha to foster connection­s within the technology world. The event serves as a platform for collaborat­ion in the technology sector across regions, including the Middle East, Africa, India, Europe, North and South America and Asia.

Kuwaiti entreprene­urs participat­ing in the summit will have the opportunit­y to learn from their peers, explore business developmen­t strategies, and enhance their innovative capabiliti­es. The event facilitate­s interactio­ns with founders of technology companies, entreprene­urs, investors, customers and partners from around the world.
