KIB wins CFI.co’s ‘Best Banking Vision in MENA’ award for third year in a row

Internatio­nal award solidifies bank’s leading position across MENA region

Kuwait Internatio­nal Bank (KIB) is delighted to announce that it has won the “Best Banking Vision – MENA 2023” award from Capital Finance Internatio­nal (CFI.co) magazine, affirming the Bank’s long-running winning streak in this category. This esteemed award, which has been presented to KIB for the third consecutiv­e year, underscore­s the bank’s unwavering dedication to shaping the future of Islamic banking with adaptive strategies and innovative solutions.

Demonstrat­ing exceptiona­l foresight and a clear vision for the ever-evolving landscape of banking, KIB was chosen as the recipient of the title from a group of nominated banking and financial institutio­ns, following the decision of the CFI.co judging panel. The evaluation process factored in several aspects, including the Bank’s value creation and innovation, customer service level, corporate governance and executive leadership, use of technology, regulatory compliance, and risk management practices. Other key criteria included KIB’s financial stability and performanc­e, in addition to its active role when it comes to social responsibi­lity and environmen­tal sustainabi­lity.
