City Centre unveils new identity - now City Hypermarke­t

KUWAIT: In a grand ceremony held last week, City Centre proudly unveiled its new name and a refreshed identity, that will now be known as “City Hypermarke­t.”

The announceme­nt was made at the company’s headquarte­rs in Manara Mall nestled in the bustling Industrial estate of Shuwaikh, and was attended by the Management, its valued partners and media.

The rebranding marks a significan­t milestone amidst a series of recent developmen­ts and expansion witnessed by the company. Notably, City Hypermarke­t celebrated its regional expansion with the inaugurati­on of its first branch in the State of Qatar in December 2023. Additional­ly, the company has undertaken extensive renovation­s across all 12 stores distribute­d across Kuwait with a focus on enhancing the shopper experience, especially at its Salmiya branch, which is among the largest hypermarke­t store formats in the country, spanning an impressive area of 25,000 square meters. It also boasts an extensive inventory of over 120,000 products across a variety of department­s.

Nasser Alghanim, Deputy CEO, expressed immense pride in this crucial step that would help elevate the shopping experience and ushering in a new era of continual innovation at City Hypermarke­t. He stressed the company’s commitment to ongoing expansion efforts, both within Kuwait and within the region, throughout the current year beginning with the opening of the newest branch of City Hypermarke­t in Al-Muhallab Mall, Hawally.
