‘Everyone is a winner,’ Prime Minister tells Kuwait Times and Kuwait News

KUWAIT: “Today, everyone is a winner,” HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Dr Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah said in exclusive statements to Kuwait News and Kuwait Times during his participation in Kuwait Sports Day on Jaber Causeway, organized by the Public Authority for Sport. Over 13,000 participants made the first-of-its-kind event a smashing success.
HH Sheikh Dr Mohammad lauded the level of participation from people of all ages in the event, drawing special attention to people of special needs “who participated in all activities” held during the Kuwait Sports Day. Their participation “is proof of the strong willpower of Kuwaiti men and women, and that they can achieve any goal they set their minds to,” he pointed out.
“We celebrate all today, because we are all winners. Every participant is a winner for uplifting our spirits and our hopes that Kuwait is on the verge of a brighter future and broader horizons,” HH Sheikh Dr Mohammad added. In addition to thanking the participants, HH the Prime Minister extended special gratitude to the event’s organizers “for their excellent organization”. He also expressed gratefulness for Saturday’s great weather, saying: “Allah loves this country. He blessed us with this perfect weather so that everyone can participate.”
The event included a vibrant display of traditional dances and songs and symbolic representations of Kuwait’s heritage, such as camels, boats, and airplanes with the Kuwaiti flag flying across the sky above Jaber Causeway. The enthusiastic participation of public schools and other government institutions added a special touch to the event, showcasing the importance of awareness of health and unity.
