Self-service kiosks linked to ‘Kuwait Mobile ID’ App 24/7

KUWAIT: The Medical Associatio­n announced the provision of “self-service” machines to provide services to its members around the clock. The President of the Associatio­n, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Tawalah, said in a press statement that the “self-service” device that was provided by the

associatio­n to the affiliates is “linked” directly with the “Kuwait Mobile ID” applicatio­n, noting that through this device, the membership card is printed and the “membership” receipt for medical licenses is received.

He pointed out that the device aims to save time and effort, pointing out that it will be provided in the first phase at the headquarte­rs of the Medical Associatio­n, provided that its provision will be studied in government hospitals and medical centers during the coming period to facilitate the affiliates. Al-Tawalah stressed the medical associatio­n’s keenness to expand the provision of its services electronic­ally in its endeavor to save time and effort

for doctors affiliated with the associatio­n.

He stressed the associatio­n’s efforts to raise the level of the medical profession and human doctors in order to achieve the greatest degree of health care and conduct scientific studies and research in various branches of medicine. This will help keep pace with the medical profession in the country. He pointed out that the associatio­n seeks to encourage and support means of cooperatio­n, exchange experience­s, conclude agreements between Arab and foreign bodies, and cooperate with similar foreign profession­al bodies so as to serve the objectives of the associatio­n to develop the health system in the country.
