WHAT IS THE CONCEPT OF THE REGIONAL CALENDARS?

The regional calendars are for two purposes. First, dur ing the preparation of the calendar, they allow all actors (pr ivate and public) to meet, discuss, exchange exper ience and cooperate. It is increasingly known that cooperation and common action is a key factor of success in rural tour ism. Then, af ter they are ready, they are a great marketing and information tool that target domestic tour ists looking for rural escapes.

WHICH AREAS DO THEY COVER?

This year they will cover the distr icts of Jezzine, Rashaya Al-wadi, and Zahlé, as well as the Ehmej-tannour ine-hadath El-jebbeh region. We hope to be able to cover additional regions in the future.

WHERE CAN TOURISTS GET HOLD OF THEM?

Paper copies of the agenda will be distr ibuted dur ing the second edition of the Travel Lebanon show [at this year’s Garden Show & Spr ing Festival], they will also be distr ibuted through Lebanon Traveler and Agenda Culturel. Copies will also be available at the Ministr y of Tour ism, at municipalities and main tour ism attractions in the region.
