TUDOR
BLACK BAY GMT
Tudor jumps on the GMT bandwagon by expanding its iconic Black Bay line with a highly functional multiple time-zone complication, recognisable by its rotatable bezel of deep blue and burgundy. Complementing the red snowflake GMT hand ‒ Tudor’s signature aesthetic hallmark since 1969, is the riveted steel finish bracelet inspired by the forefathers of the 1950s and 1960s. Famed for its stepped construction with visible rivet heads that attached the links, the Black Bay GMT integrates modern manufacturing methods by using solid links with a polished and satin finish. The steel bracelet is interchangeable with two other strap designs: the “Terra di Siena” brown leather strap with folding clasp and safety catch, and the black fabric strap with a burgundy band made using the Jacquard technique, a traditional method achieved by a 150-year-old family firm from the St-Etienne region of France ‒ a signature feature of Tudor thought to be a pioneer in this area.
