Breitling dedicates the Superocean Heritage ‘57 Limited Edition II to Covid-19 frontliners

In support of frontline heroes battling against COVID-19, Breitling launches the Superocean Heritage ’57 Limited Edition II

THE REMARKABLE COMMITMENT of healthcare professionals fighting the global outbreak of COVID-19 has led Breitling to create the Superocean Heritage ’57 Limited Edition

II, featuring a blue dial and rainbow design elements, with part of the proceeds from the new watch dedicated to charities in the countries hit hardest by the pandemic.

Breitling has also pledged an additional CHF1,000 for each of the first 100 units sold via www.breitling.com. In total, the company will donate CHF500,000, split equally among six charities, namely the Fondation de France, the Humanitas hospital group in Italy, Japan’s National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Spain’s Ministry of Health, NHS Charities Together in the UK, and Direct Relief in the US.

“The incredible healthcare workers have sacrificed so much and we wanted to make it clear how much we care with this new version of our own rainbow,” said Breitling CEO Georges Kern.

Inspired by the rainbow, which has come to symbolise solidarity, the Superocean Heritage ’57 Limited Edition II features a 42mm design in stainless steel with a blue ceramic bezel, and a blue dial with vibrant hour markers and hands in the colours of the visible spectrum. The watch is fitted with either a gold-brown vintage-inspired leather strap or an integrated Ocean Classic stainless-steel bracelet.

strap, available separately in one of six color combinations: blue with dark blue stripes and lining, light blue with dark blue stripes and lining, yellow with orange stripes and lining, gray with black stripes and lining, red with black stripes and lining, and green with black stripes and lining.

The watch is produced in a limited edition of 1,000 pieces, each unit is engraved with its corresponding number on the case-back.
