Louis Vuitton has new and exciting additions to its Art of Gaming Collection
It doesn’t hurt to make gaming not just fun but also stylish
LE BILLARD
Louis Vuitton presents an exciting new addition to their Art of Gaming collection. From chess to poker, and even a Billiard table. The Billiard Canvas makes a striking addition to any game room and lends an exquisite touch to its interior. It is available in an array of colours and designs such as the classic Monogram motif, which was designed in 1896, a dark Monogram Eclipse and Damier Graphite. The leather alternative comes in various colours like cyan and fuchsia, a bi-coloured navy and pistachio variation plus sweet caramel and white in smooth leather. Created with the identical levels of craftsmanship as the Louis Vuitton trunk, the table is designed and covered with delicate leather corners in Louis Vuitton’s naturally tanned cowhide leather. The edges are meticulously dyed with numerous layers of hand-applied paint as hand-pressed metallic hardware finishes the table as each stud is engraved with the brand’s signature. The table is completed with the essential accessories which include billiard balls painted with flowers from the Monogram pattern encircling the numbers, two pairs of leather and Monogram cue sticks and a leather triangle. The handcrafted Billiards table combines Louis Vuitton’s savoirfaire and longstanding love for all sports.
LE BABYFOOT
The House’s games collection has expanded and evolved over the years, continuing with Louis Vuitton’s grandson, GastonLouis Vuitton’s love for sports and games. In addition to the Billiard table, the brand has also introduced their take on the luxury foosball table called, Babyfoot. It is also available in the iconic Monogram canvas, a dark Monogram Eclipse and Damier Graphite. The foosball table also comes in a rainbow of vibrant Epi leathers such as cyan, pistachio and fuchsia as well as a bi-coloured caramel and white variation in smooth leather. The
Epi leather’s undulated texture adds a unique feel to the table, while its smooth counterpart lines the Babyfoot’s playing field. Similar to the Billiard Canvas, the body is made from wood and is then covered in the canvas or leather. Finally, it is treated to numerous layers of hand-applied edge-dying on the corners. The players are inspired by Louis Vuitton’s Groom a famed character from the House’s advertising images in 1921, and are each hand-cast in aluminium. To complete the custom canvas and leather table, each player is meticulously hand-painted by expert artisans in team colours.
