THE DYNAMIC DUO

Oppo has released not one, but two new models̶The OPPO Reno 3 and the OPPO Reno 3 Pro. Both models feature dual-mode 5G support, sport quad rear cameras and boasts a gradient finish. Although both models are equipped with a 6.4″Full HD+ AMOLED display, the Reno 3 comes with a ‘waterdrop-style’ display notch while the Reno 3 Pro has a ‘hole-punch’ display design.

The Reno 3 quad-camera setup consists of a 48MP f/1.8 main camera and a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto camera has a 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom. For selfie lovers, it also comes with a single 44MP f/2.4 main camera that is capable of taking pictures in lowlight setting. The Reno 3 Pro model quad-camera setup instead boasts a 64MP f/1.8 main camera, 13MP f/2.4 telephoto lens, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP shooter for portrait effects. It produces 108MP high-resolution images and is also capable of doing 5x hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom just like the Reno 3. Apart from its ability to capture minute details, the Reno 3 series is also able to shoot clear and bright photos even at night with its Ultra Dark Mode.

The Reno 3 Series also comes with Dolby Atmos technology, Hi-Res Audio via supported headphones, and OPPO Screen Image Engine (OSIE) ‒ a softwareba­sed visual optimisati­on technology that increases saturation and contrast whilst reducing noise. Gamers will enjoy the Hyper Boost technology that helps to automatica­lly reallocate system resources to optimise frame rates and increase touch sensitivit­y by increasing the frequency of touch scans which will result in a smoother and more responsive gaming experience.
