PERFORMANCE BASED
Apart from its dashing good looks, another exciting development is that, as with all newer Toyota models, the vehicle sits on a brand new platform known as TNGA ‒ for Toyota New Global Architecture. What this means is that its agility, stability and visibility have all been enhanced, as TNGA refines driving performance and comfort, thus ensuring capability, comfort and safety for all Toyota users.
When it comes to performance, the All-new Toyota RAV4 doesn’t disappoint either. The 2.5 litre engine produces up to 152 kw/207 ps of power with 243 Nm of torque. PLus it is paired with an 8-speed Automatic Transmission (Direct Shift 8-AT). And on top of that, it allows drivers to choose from Eco, Normal and Sport modes to suit driving preference and conditions.
Further, the All-new Toyota RAV4 comes with an entirely new powertrain with Dynamic Force engines which are lighter and more powerful. The four cylinder petrol engine has high-speed combustion technologies and VVT-iE intelligent variable valve-timing and ultra-low internal friction, enabling it to achieve greater thermal efficiency, and resulting in a higher output.
USEFUL UTILITY
The All-new Toyota RAV4 comes with all the frills you need. This includes a Kick-sensor
Power Back Door, which opens up to a reversible cargo floor for multiple usage that is also height adjustable to create more space.
Speaking about space, the cabin has been redesigned and now is wider at 1,855 mm with the longer wheelbase (+30 mm) benefitting spaciousness. This definitely benefits the outdoorsy types who would like to store equipment or gear as they head out for their adventures. After all, the seats can be adjusted according to personal preference, with a 60:40 split for various configurations to allow flexibility in carrying people or cargo.
Then when it comes to enjoyment within the SUV, the All-new Toyota RAV4’s entertainment system is also stellar. A new 7-inch DVD-AVX infotainment system with six speakers and a range of connectivity options will keep passengers entertained all throughout the ride.
All this on top of the standard keyless entry and start system, more USB points for charging electronic devices, including a wireless charger, indirect mood lighting, numerous storage spaces and cup/bottle holders are provided.

expect to have a truly comfortable ride in the All-new Toyota RAV4.
For the driver, 8-way power adjustments and memory features make selecting the best position easy. And the seats have thicker cushions and enlarged lumbar support pads to give better body support and the seating posture ‒ not to mention a seat ventilation system to enhance comfort.
Within the interior, a floor silencer and insulator material is integrated with a larger surface area. This helps to reduce the vehicle’s noise, harshness and vibration. Not to mention the harshness of outside noises is also quietened down, so passengers get to truly relax as they travel.
SAFETY FIRST
Besides the seven SRS airbags, the Allnew Toyota RAV4 is fitted with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), a suite of systems which assists the driver. These include the PreCollision System (PCS) which monitors the road ahead (using radar and camera) and alerts the driver of an imminent collision; and automatically brakes in case the driver doesn’t respond in time.
Then there’s the Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) which monitors the lanes on the road and assists the driver with maintaining in their respective lane.

This system benefits not only the driver but also oncoming drivers, as the sensors detect the headlights of an oncoming vehicle or tail lights of a vehicle ahead, the headlights will automatically switch to low beams. This will avoid dazzling other drivers, thus enhancing the safety of all road users.
The vehicle also comes with a 3D PVM which is very useful during parking process especially at narrow or tight parking space with its 360 view of the car and surrounding area. Blind Spot Monitor (BSM ) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), both of which alerts the driver when other vehicles are in the blind spot during lane changes or reversing.
