Tatler Dining Malaysia

WHY GO

-

This charming fine dining establishment in Kuching takes your breath away with its food and unfettered views of the world’s oldest rainforest.

An ideal mouth amuser is the freshly baked oysters dressed in cheese, tomatoes and garlic. Or go green with the Nicoise salad that perfectly partners up quality tuna with hardboiled eggs, potatoes, French beans and black olives.

The tenderloin is best ordered medium rare to strike a perfect balance of savoury taste with the meat’s firm yet naturally tender texture. Sautéed vegetables and béarnaise sauce complete the dish. Alternatively, opt for the osso bucco lamb shank. Braised over low heat, the result is a dish with deep, rich flavours and meat that is almost falling apart from the bone. It is capably garnished with sides of golden mash potatoes and spinach.

Round off the evening with the impressively presented chocolate soufflé that gets its height from stiffly beaten egg whites. Topped with a scoop of ice cream, the sinfully rich chocolate just melts in the mouth.
