A NEW SIGNATURE
For Me, ingredients were carefully chosen to give the fragrance the equivalent of sheer expression, one that is not too intoxicating yet memorable enough to leave a lasting impression. Like Lanvin’s fashion collections, the fragrance is all about femininity that is both intimate and yet outstanding.
Perfumer Domitille Bertier elaborates: “My inspiration comes from my addiction to liquorice wood and to an iconic ultrafeminine flower in perfumery: the tuberose. For Lanvin Me, I wanted to design a fragrance that unveils a bright and an addictive sensuality with the chic signature,” she says, adding that the blueberry in the top notes pays homage to the Lanvin blue.
Like all Lanvin signatures, this fragrance is about the wearer’s personality. Elbaz muses: “The gold chain decorated with a bluetoned gemstone represents a link between fashion and emotion, and this fragrance is the finishing touch that celebrates the Lanvin woman’s liberation. Since Me is a gift perfume, the Me woman likes to give it to herself. There is no shame about it.”
