Estée Lauder’s beauty consultants are getting a très chic wardrobe update, courtesy of Opening Ceremony duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. Inspiration came from the archives, with vintage compacts informing the signature enamelled belt alongside jacquard prints reminiscent of the brand’s classic rope weave pattern. “Estée Lauder has such a rich history in luxury,” said Lim. “We fell in love with the beautiful motifs ... to create a silhouette that is slightly retro with a modern look and feel.” Think peplum tops, slim-cut pants, as well as ’50s flare skirts and dresses of lush navy accented with gold.
