The peo­ple be­hind Ta­ble 23 have cre­atively sourced their fur­ni­ture and dé­cor – imag­ine ta­bles from pri­mary schools, a Vespa, and pic­ture­less frames. The com­pact menu lists pork belly with beet­root purée, sautéed as­para­gus and potato fon­dant, beef cheek with ba­con, cherry toma­toes, and zuc­chini, sloppy pork burger with ap­ple chut­ney, and oys­ter mush­room, pear, and pick­led fen­nel salad.
