IT’S A WRAP
Marking the 40th anniversary of the wrap dress is Diane von Furstenberg’s 2014 retrospective of vintage and contemporary designs, chronicling the journey of the wrap across four decades. “I was 26 when I created the wrap dress,” says Diane von Fürstenberg, “and I am thrilled to be celebrating it now with this exhibition.” Highlights include portraits of the designer herself by celebrated artists Andy Warhol, Chuck Close, Francesco Clemente, Helmut Newton, and Annie Leibovitz.
